Why not kick start your
day with a good breakfast in tranquil surroundings? You can
choose to have a continental style selection or a full English
breakfast to match your appetite.
Breakfast is served
between 7am and 9 am in our dining room overlooking the rear
garden, so you can enjoy breakfast whilst watching the
Guests staying in
the Jade suite (double occupancy only) can request to have
their breakfast served en suite.
In warm weather
breakfast may be taken al fresco, by arrangement, on the
patio outside the dining room or under the gazebo in the

juices, fresh seasonal fruits, a variety of cereals &
yoghurts, brioche rolls, croissants or toast (all organic)
accompanied by Fairtrade breakfast tea, fruit teas or freshly
brewed coffee cafetiere.
Our delicious full
English breakfast is made from locally sourced or organic
produce, whenever possible; is freshly cooked to order; and

Grilled traditionally-made British pork sausages
(or vegetarian sausages)
Fresh English tomato
from the vine
(kippers, haddock or mackerel) are available on request and
are purchased from responsibly fished sources.
In addition there is a
choice of white or wholemeal toast with butter, jam, marmalade
or honey (again all organic).
Simpler options (such as
a boiled egg or beans on toast) or smaller portions are
available for children or those with a lighter appetite. Please

catered for by arrangement at the time of booking.
A highchair is available
in the dining room for infants.
* Our free range eggs
are laid at Pondhead Poultry Farm (about 3 miles from Elms
Lodge) by hens fed on feeds which contain no antibiotics,
hormones or drugs.
